The Home linen

I grew up in a business family. My parents had a screen printing factory and a clothing manufacturing unit. They printed for major global brands and received an award in Madrid for producing the best Tunisian screen printing in 1995.

Graphic design and projection workshops, labs, and production facilities were part of my daily environment. This exposure allowed me to become proficient in all aspects of screen-printing which allowed me later to teach during an internship at St-Luc Brussels.

At the age of fifteen, when my parents had to travel to Europe for business, I was already in charge of the factory and staff.

I also enjoyed meeting clients, visiting other factories, participating in deliveries, and attending trade fairs in Paris, Frankfurt, and Düsseldorf.

My parents also inspired me and gave me some values that I will cherish forever, such as perseverance, honesty, and respect for oneself, others, and of the environment.

That's why, quite naturally, my approach aligns with what is described on the Ethical page.

NeNa Neffati 1992

My teenage life was an unforgettable period: the memories of the scents of flowers, laurel, jasmine, thyme, and citrus, the aromas of food in the alleyways on the way, back home from school, the scent of the sea in every season, and the sound of waves that rock’s you to sleep, just like the swaying cypresses. Also, the melodies of Fairouz and Abdelwahab songs, the outdoor festivities at the amphitheatre on Hammamet beach, and the penetrating light and sunshine. Without forgetting the warmth, generosity, and spontaneity of the wonderful Tunisian people.

I left Tunisia at the age of 17 to finish my studies in Belgium.

I initially studied fine arts, an extraordinary world that reaffirmed to me the importance of creativity, critical thinking, and of being open to all cultures.

I also travelled to America, India, Jordan, Senegal, the Scandinavian countries, and nearly all of Europe, to explore the world and myself.

As André Gide once said: "It is not enough to read that the sands of the beaches are soft; I want my bare feet to feel it. Any knowledge that is not preceded by a sensation is useless to me."

Then, I pursued a master’s degree in engineering and social action to satisfy my intellectual curiosity and to gain knowledge in management and to implement projects.

Additionally, I facilitated creative workshops, organized events and exhibitions, decorated apartments, customized furniture, crafted chandeliers from recycled materials, and decorated the rooms of our Residence Neffati in Hammamet.

All this eventually led to the realization of a dream: to become a businesswoman and create my own brand.

I am thus delighted to share with you my new,

Ethical home linen brand

NeNa Neffati

Logo's meaning

Symbolism of the Tree and Nature : The horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines of the logo represent primary features. The vertical line symbolizes a tree trunk, the horizontal lines represent branches, and the diagonal lines evoke leaves. A tree encompasses its origin, roots, and strength, but it also conveys a message about Nature and the importance of its preservation.

Colors : Blue represents the sea and NeNa Neffati's childhood memories, white evokes the light reflecting on Tunisian architecture, and gold symbolizes the gentle warmth of the sun.

"Nod" The logo also contains a personal nod to my brother, Amory Novoselac, symbolizing an exceptional family history and bond.
